Great magician of cricket wants to retire in November 2013

Sachin Tendulkar is known as the greatest batsman in contemporary cricket, today he called that he quits from Test cricket, announcing his retirement after his 200th match against the West Indies next month. Organized by the BCCI to go home Test series against the West Indies, Tendulkar was linked to retire. At only 16 years old Sachin to open career so far played 198 Tests and most runs scored in test cricket as fifty-one centuries with sixty-seven half centuries. Tendulkar test debut against Pakistan in Karachi on November 15, 1989 and last will be play against West Indies from 14th November. The test venue has not yet been determined.
Struggling with form for the last two years, forty year old Sachin today informed the BCCI about his decision to retire from Test cricket, putting an end to the intense speculation about his future. With his poor form, there has been increasing pressure on him to pave the way for a younger player and the decision may not have been all that surprising. He said, “All my life, I have had a dream of playing cricket for India. I have been living this dream every day for the last 24 years. It’s hard for me to imagine a life without playing cricket because it’s all I have ever done since I was 11 years old. It’s been a huge honour to have represented my country and played all over the world. I look forward to playing my 200th Test Match on home soil, as I call it a day,”. Tendulkar, who has already retired from the ODIs last year, thanked the BCCI for its support throughout his career and also for allowing him to walk into Test sunset at a time of his choosing. Tendulkar’s 200th test match is most likely to be held at his home ground in Mumbai from November,14. The Eden Gardens in Kolkata is also a venue for hosting that historic match. The BCCI has not yet announced the venues for the two Tests against the West Indies.

Whatever, It is a bad news for his fans and cricket lovers because he is a legend or god of cricket in India, but it is a part of life when a man loose from his body not his mind. Good luck for Sachin Tendulkar.............
